Exclusive tour of Studio D : Dreams Factory!

We’ve been invited on Friday, June 11th, 2021 by Insidears to visit the new Studio replacing Playhouse Disney!

We arrived in front of the new entrance where Studio D’s logo has been erected! New posters were placed to promote the brand new children's show created for the occasion.

We were greeted by the show director and the show designer.

The first striking thing is the immersion in which this new room is bringing us, between the sounds, the lights, but also the superb settings of this new stage.

Description of the new Studio D Theater :

They explained us how they redesigned this theater, they wanted both a space that could accommodate many guests, but also some events.

This is how an architect offered them this idea of ​​a round room with retractable / stowable seats... in just 30mins!

The room has around 600 seats, 250 different light effects and sound system giving the impression of reality and movement of objects. We had the chance to get a sneak peak of it, and it’s brilliant!

Description of the sets :

The sets were created by Scott, who built the ones for Celebration Animation. The choice of steampunk "style"  was simply made following the script of the show.

Many details and hidden screens were placed on the new stage.

During the show, Miss mallet will leave everyone in the factory of dream. Mickey and friends will sing along to find how they’ll make people dream through the factory!

Performers are experienced singers and actors which worked for famous comedy around the world!
